After 20+ hours of work, it's finally paid off. I've been wanting to do this pic for a long time, but never wanted to take the time. I'm glad I finally proved to myself I could do it.

Sorry about the picture quality...
Done on 9x12 smooth bristol board.

wow! awesome!!! great job! one little thing about the pic though. i dont know if you were trying not to do it, but in his eye, there's supposed to be a reflection of Doc Ock. ^^; sorry for pointing that out. I can see some of it, but i was wondering if you were going to give it any more detail. but otherwise, awesome job, its wonderful!!!!

Good effort on your part. Of course, the detail of Spiderman's costume will add the hours big time, but I'm glad it paid off for you. Since it's only a 9" x 12" piece, you can (if you have one) scan this on a scanner, which will most likely amp up the quality of the work; no blurriness. I would like to see some darker shading gradations to help shape up the forms here. It gets particularly flat around the left/bottom half of the piece.

Thanks alot for the comment. I'll make sure to go back fix the shading around that corner. The internet isn't working in my dorm room yet so I won't be able to scan it for a while. Digital camera is about all i can do for now ;)
